A little music to keep you going….while we don’t talk about the lockout

A classic. I just heard it on À vos disques et vinyles on La Première chaine and I figured you guys had to hear it. Oneil Devost’s Les Canadiens de Montréal.

Can’t really imagine him writing the song about the Habs of the past 20 years, with all that stuff about the pride of the Quebec nation exemplified by Nos Canadiens. There are no Lafleurs, Lemaires and Tremblays to pay homage to these days. I like Mathieu Darche but you gotta admit it’s not quite the same thing.

Makes you think back once again to the last team that had a serious Franco Quebecois quotient – the 92-93 Canadiens. Oh yeah that’s also the last time time Les Boys won the Cup. Hmmmm.
