Teddy Purcell is the man

The Tampa Bay Lightning’s 25-year-old, Teddy Purcell is now one of the league’s leading scorers with 4 goals, 11 assists and 15 points these 2011 playoffs. He was never actually drafted. He started is NHL career in Los Angeles with the Kings in the 2007-08 season. Teddy had 34 career points coming into the 2010-11 season and got 51 points this season to equal 85 career points (Regular Season). 60% of Purcell’s points were from this season. This is his first ever NHL Playoff and he’s looking good. Teddy Purcell got traded to the Bolts at the Trade Deadline in March, 2010 for Jeff Halpern. The 200 pound, 6’3 right winger is also one of the 7 active NHL players from Newfoundland. Ryan Clowe of the San Jose Sharks was the most successful NHL player from Newfoundland. Teddy was the 2nd. Teddy is actually his nickname. His first name is Edward.
